If you edit your profile & include your birth info...then when it's your b-day it'll automatically tell us near the bottom of the front page under "statistics". Today it's cousin Christina's b-day. Within the next 7 days it'll be cousin Louise's b-day.
I posted comments on their profiles telling them happy b-day. You can do the same or post something under general discussion telling them happy b-day.
If you post Calendar events, like HS graduation or wedding or family reunion, those would also appear near the bottom of the front page under "statistics".
Other software automatically comes w/ holidays in the calendar. Or they have a way "behind the scenes" you can add them. This one don't. So we'll have to post holidays as events if we want them to appear under "statistics".
